I love this place. I went a few years ago, when they still had Enterprise . Even took some of the same pictures! I think returning to see Discovery sometime makes perfect sense.

I remember reading about the Seiran and their efforts to restore it in Air & Space Smithsonian back in '91 or so. I remember thinking I'd never see it completed.

Awesome....I walked in and saw the "Moon Plane" - Lysander .... and then the SR 71... from the top of the stairs.... I audibly went "Ohh!" .... the tour guide standing nearby asked me if I needed to be alone for a few minutes.....fantastic museum.....I missed my flight home...didn't regret staying late...
